IIT Jee Main Results 2017 : The JEE Mains rank Card 2017 is finally released and official portals are working fine.  The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) will publish the JEE Main Results 2017 at www.jeemain.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in. JEE Main rank and JEE Main all India rank list 2017 has been declared. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the JEE Main Result 2017 likely to be in the month of April. Candidates who had appeared for the exam can view their results on the official JEE main website. Admission criteria to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions shall include the performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). The Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs. The States of Gujarat, Nagaland, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State Level Examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) – 2017 application form online.

After the results for both- JEE Mains and JEE Advanced examination had been declared in May and June respectively, the admission process is poised to begin now in participating colleges.JoSAA– the Joint Seat Allocation Authority has been set up by HRD Ministry to regulate the joint seat allocation process to a total of 92 institutions through single platform. The joint counselling is currently scheduled to commence from 24 June after the rank list is announced online.

JEE Main 2017 rank list will be published on www.jeemain.nic.in, cbse portal and also on josaa.nic.in on 23rd June. Students will be able to know their ranks under their login profile after entering the roll number and required details.

While the result disclosed the marks obtained by students in JEE Main exam, the rank list is prepared through a normalisation process by giving 60% weightage to JEE Main score and 40% weightage to 12th class percentage. A candidate is provided one rank separately on All India basis and another based on category.
